backup de gmail via synology

Que se passe t-il si google décide de fermer votre compte mail ...
adieu vos contacts et vos mails

Pour sauvegarder les mails, il faut au préalable que syno soit capable de récupérer des mails.

• activer mail station via l’interface du synology
• activation snmp, mettre son domaine, si vous etes chez free c'est untruc.hd.free.fr
• activer l'imap, indispensable pour visualiser ses mails avec roundcube, le webmail du synology

Puis installer et configurer fetchmail

ipkg install fetchmail

Dans la conf sur Gmail, il faut activer la récupération de mail via pop et même ceux déjà télécharger.
Attention cette conf ne s'applique qu'une fois ! Si vous voulez recharger vos mails il faut la réactiver coté gmail !!!

Sur le syno, dans /opt/etc/fetchmailrc

set logfile "/var/log/fetchmail.log"
set daemon 3660
poll pop.gmail.com with proto POP3
user 'machin@gmail.com' there with password 'mon-password' is 'login-syno' here options ssl keep fetchall
smtphost untruc.hd.free.fr


Puis lancer

/opt/etc/init.d/S52fetchmail start

Reste deux problèmes

• la log du fetchmail est bavarde, il faut mettre en place un logrotate
• un gag sur le certificat de google
  fetchmail: This means that the root signing certificate (issued for /C=US/O=Google Inc/CN=Google Internet Authority) is not in the trusted CA certificate locations, or that c_rehash needs to be run on the certificate directory. For details, please see the documentation of --sslcertpath and --sslcertfile in the manual page.
  il y a des sujets sur ce problème sur le net mais j'ai pas pu le régler :(
